How it Works

Your website is created with a custom Word Press shopping cart theme, taking payments with your choice of PayPal, Credit Cards, and Offline Payments. The power of Word Press allows you to easily make pages and add content by yourself without any techno wizardry.

Your Look and Feel:

When we setup your store we will work with you to make the site your own. The Word Press theme includes customizable preset style sheets, as well as areas for your logo, Google analytics, and conversion tracking. The setup is quick and easy, but at the same time the tools are available to customize your store to any level of detail.

Store Packages:

There are two versions of the online store, Basic and Advanced. The Basic Store is completely managed by Word Press, while the Advanced Store includes the E-Merchant manager to compliment the Word Press manager. The Basic Store works well for sites that sell a few products that rarely change, while the Advanced Store is essential for high volume stores that list many items, track a lot of orders, and sell on eBay.

Listing Items For Sale

Basic: Items are added as posts, with options for price, quantity, colors and sizes, full description, up to 16 images, and shipping costs.

Advanced: The E-Merchant manager includes tools to list items individually or in bulk. All of the tools are designed to make it easy to quickly list items for your store and prepare them for listing on eBay. Extensive lists of Vintage Sports Cards and US Coins are available for one click listing that makes listing incredibly fast.

Images

Basic: Uploaded on Item Listing form.

Advanced: Images for your listings are added quickly after listing individual items, or automatically when loading in bulk. The images are sized to your settings, and displayed with your listing. Listings sent to eBay include the images in the description, saving any eBay fees for picture hosting.

Displaying Items in the Store

Categories
All Stores: Listings are organized in a main category with unlimited levels of sub categories, and can also be cross listed in any number of other categories thanks to the power of Word Press. Typically a Featured category is used, as well as Specials.

Advanced: Sports cards and Coins added through the E-Merchant listing tools are atomatically categorized by, and sports cards are also cross listed by Team and Player when designated.

Sorting
Advanced: Sports cards and coins added with our tools are assigned a Sort ID which is used to display the listings in the proper order. Sports cards display by Year, Number, then Condition, as opposed to being sorted by listing title alone. Coins are sorted by Year, Mint Mark (in P D S order), then Condition.

Sorting is a key feature that sets the E-Merchant store apart from other store software.

Connecting with eBay

Advanced: E-Merchant manager works directly with eBay. You can send items individually or in bulk to eBay, as auction or eBay Store listings. The software checks eBay for sold items and updates the online store, as well as ends eBay listings that are no longer available. This allows you to have items in your online store and your eBay Store at the same time!

To make this possible each item listed stores information needed to list on eBay. This includes category, title, price, payment and shipping, and a few other things. Each time you add an item to your inventory your default settings are loaded, and can be edited for each item if needed.

It is entirely possible to completely manage your eBay listings from the Ultimate Card Store manager. Tools are available that import orders, print invoices, send shipping notices, and even leave Feedback.

Managing Orders

Basic: There is no Order Manager with the Basic Package. Orders are received by email, and managed by hand or in PayPal or your merchant account.

Advanced: The E-Merchant manager tracks your orders placed on your store, or sold on eBay. Tools include printing, ship notices, leaving feedback on eBay, as well as customer look up and advanced sales reporting tools.

Getting Started

Once you decide to move forward, we'll get started right away. Your website will be ready to add content and inventory immediately. How long it takes to launch is up to you, but it can be done in a matter of hours!

Training is done by email, phone, or Skype, and is tailored to your needs. We can teach you just the basics, or provide any detail you need to get the most out of your store.
