Online Store Features:
- No HTML experience required to run the site. If you have the experience, this system will allow you to utilize your knowledge to produce custom results easily.
- Displays items on automatically written pages based on your category and sub category selections. Entire Site updates automatically when inventory is added, changed, or deleted with the click of an update link.
- Each Item includes Category, Descriptions, Thumbnail and full size images, List and sales prices, as well as more customizable fields.
- Ability to add, remove or change orders in the shopping cart.
- Shoppers receive order confirmation and thank you via email.
- Supports orders from secure checkout forms, and can be adapted to charge credit cards on the spot with an Authorize.net merchant account (not included).
- Add, Edit, and Remove items from web based forms.
- Ability to delete multiple items at one time.
- Ability to edit price and/or quantity on many items at the same time. (The flip side of this is that most systems require editing items individually. Try to do this on a web based system with 200 or 300 items to change.)
- Edit sites appearance and the content of messages from the web browser.

Listing Sportscards
Sportscards can be listed two ways.
- Individually through the Online Store Manager
- Through Spreadsheets created with Excel (or any other spreadsheet program)
Listing a card individually is fine, but time consuming. Over the past 10 years we have created and refined a method of listing sportscards using spreadsheets. The basic information for a sportscard is entered in a row of the spreadhseet. This includes year, sport, company, card number, grade, price and description (optional). When completed, the spreadsheet is then copied and pasted into the Online Store Manager, and is processed using our database where we store complete information on sportscards. Using spreadsheets makes it easy to copy, paste, and fill in the basic information. The training you will recieve will help you learn quickly.
Scanning Sportscards
After years of scanning individual cards with low productivity scanners,
we knew that there had to be something better! With the help of a major
scanner supplier, we tested many scanners with ADF (automatic document
feeders) to see what could handle scanning a baseball card. Considerations
for speed, quality, software, and reliability were very important.
The Fujitsu fi-5220C was the solution. This a mid level scanner, with a list price close to $2,000. High level scanners go for much more! We couldn稚 be more pleased with the scanner. The scanner has a flatbed for larger or thicker items, and an Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) that scans regular baseball cards extremely fast. With the ADF, we are able to consistently scan the front and back of 100 baseball cards in 5 minutes or less! See a video here.
The scanner requires a special holder to scan cards with the ADF> While regular semi rigid holders do work, they are somewhat expensize and heavy to ship. We solved this problem by designing our own protective sleeve that is roughly the thickeness of a 9 pocket page, but in the shape of a card sleeve. We provide 10,000 of these sleeves to get you started, and have more available 2 cents a sleeve plus shipping (minimum order 10,000 sleeves).
Images are uploaded to your website using FTP, or can be addded individually to an item. Once an image is on your website, the software will create image links for your listings.
Connecting With eBay
The Online Store Manager works directly with eBay. You can send items
individually or in bulk to ebay, as auction or ebay store listings.
The software checks eBay for sold items and updates the online store,
as well as ends eBay listings that are no longer available. This allows
you to have items in your online store and your eBay store at the same
time!

Clean sweep also uses our online store software to sell more than 25,000 items online. Strictly Mint Vintage Sportscards is our own Online Store. Strictly Mint has an inventory of over 30,000 cards online, and posts store inventory directly to eBay. The Strictly Mint store communicates with the eBay store, running items concurrently and updating each store as itrems are sold.
